At the End of the Tunnel
by Timothy O. Goyette
Well, the Muse had been inactive for a year or more. It rested inert in cyberspace. I guess that makes it a ghost; knowledge, entertainment, ideas stuck in time, unable to move forward or back.
Okay, it was a dead site like so many sites out there. As you may have read here before, it grew to demand too much time from the editors. One by one the editors left to pursue other interests like sleeping, families, and day jobs.
The reason Quantum Muse is back now is we have come up with a plan for world domination! No, actually a plan to distribute the work across the entire body of our writers. Now each submitted story is critiqued by at least 3 writers before the editors look at them.
This helps the writers to develop by having their work actually critiqued, instead of a rejection letter, and by critiquing stories themselves, they develop a critical eye.
Over the next several months we intend to add features to enhance the experience for our readers as well as writers.
We want to welcome everyone back as we get started with this reincarnation. At least it didn't come back as a fish.
