Year Two of the Revolution

Internet companies are dropping faster than a discount plastic surgery job. Investors are running for the hills, or at least demanding companies produce something called "profits." The bubble has burst - over a trillion dollars disappeared almost overnight. The global economy appears to be on the cusp of a major slowdown. That's why, on the second anniversary issue of Quantum Muse, I must announce: the party continues!

We aren't in this for the quick kill. We are here for the long haul. We are the true believers. We have a vision! We know that chicks dig us! We have double vision! We know how to live on nothing but beans, rice, and weeds we pull from the yard! We have yet to run out of coffee and booze! We love our readers! We love our authors! We love what we do! We must be crazy!

Crazy like a fox. Running an E-zine is not the most lucrative endeavor, but after two years, we are still at it. Sure, there are some great benefits. I go weeks without wearing shoes and socks. I only wear a tie for funerals and only when I can find the darn thing. I tell people that I can't work for them because I work for Quantum Muse, and thus avoid real jobs. But what I really enjoy is being part of humankind's forward evolution.

The human race are story tellers, creatures of imagination. Seeds of imagination germinate into physical reality. We are a race of dreamers. From dreams come some great ideas that manifest in the real world. Quantum Muse is delighted to be part of the dream. We don't just publish this stuff, we really can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality.

Quantum Muse gathers fascinating thoughts and publishes them for the world to see. Our stories and art fuel the mind with high-test wonder. If you are entertained, that's great. If we give you something to think about, that's rather special too. If you read something that causes you to quit your boring 9 to 5 job, sell all your worldly goods, and move to a Caribbean island where the women are willing and the booze always flows . . . well, that's really cool too.
