mark211Things to look forward to in 2018?2018-01-14 03:44:30
mark211Belated though it is, a Happy New Year to all Quantum Musers - I hope you've managed to ease yourselves back into the routine and work and insomnia I've no doubt most of you experience.2018-01-14 03:45:27
mark211So, in the world of SFF, what are you looking forward to this year? In the audio-visual world, "Star Trek: Discovery" has restarted, continuing its run from the end of last year (which personally, I enjoyed very much); "The Beyond" which could be interesting (trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbl6hkqdeWM); and also "Altered Carbon" (trailer here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhFM8akm9a4). Then in fiction, there is Andrzej 'Witcher' Sapkowski's "The Lady of the Lake", Annalee Newitz's "Autonomous", and a highly unusual dark satire from someone called 'Duve' by the name of "Prepper Room". So, what about you good people? Anything caught your eye of late? 2018-01-14 04:12:06
dandrew72With any luck, publication of my first full length book. And for a more realistic goal, I'm on the lookout for new genres this year - things that really shatter the mold. 2018-01-15 14:49:39
micheledutcherI'm looking forward to Victoria on PBS (BBC) 2nd season. I'm hoping to finish redoing my books and actually get them to a publisher - at least looking for a publisher. But I have photos to take and hundreds of pages to edit. I am looking forward to Lucifer (3rd season) as well. 2018 mid-term elections. 2019 - Cosmos returns with Neil Tyson Degrasse Yay! 2018-01-18 12:54:07
IronspiderI'm looking forward to finding a story that actually engages my interest! Maybe it's my age, but I'm finding that way too many books I've read recently aren't lingering in my thoughts. The stories feel superficial and a lot of characters are so ephemeral I can't even remember their names while I'm reading.2018-01-18 23:57:27
