tgoyetteFavorite sci fi movie line?2012-04-09 09:48:08
tgoyetteThere are so many, it is hard to choose. I suggest a line from Critters. It was a dumb movie, but there were some good lines. The boy and his grandfather come upon a mutilated cow and the boy asks: "What could do that to a cow?" The grandfather answers "I don't know, but I don't want to find out without my shotgun." In most movies they'd go running off without weapons. It was nice to see some sanity even in this low budget romp. 2012-04-09 09:52:01
GordonRowlinsonStar Wars Hans Solo to Luke Skywalker "Traveling through hyperspace anit like dusting crops boy!" Terminator 2 Sarah Connor describing the upcoming nuke war "Anybody not wearing 2 million sunblock is gonna have a real bad day. Get it?" 2012-04-13 02:47:01
micheledutcherCome on in - It's obviously the monolog of the dying replicant Roy Batty in Bladrunner, no contest. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. [pause] Time to die." 2012-04-13 07:12:16
arupthe watchmen probably doesn't count as sci fi but still dr manhattan is a great sci fi character for sure he's got a line (not exact) ''we are all puppets on a string... I am a puppet who can see the strings''2012-04-16 06:11:08
IronspiderBy no means a favourite of mine, but "these aren't the 'droids you're looking for!" accompanied by a hand gesture seems to have passed into common usage here in the UK. And it's not just among Star Wars fans.2012-04-17 04:46:57
bottomdwellerAs far as Ironspiders, I've seen an offshoot of that line. It has a Clone fighter and it says: Regret - Those were the droids I was look for. FunnY! I'm using it in a story as well. It says, "These aren't the Druids you're looking for." Fantasy of course.2012-04-18 09:04:01
